Welcome to UKG Language

UKG Language is a division of UKG Guardians which was established 2012 and has over 20 years’ experience working with international students.

UK Guardians is an AEGIS Gold Standard guardianship provider so you can be guaranteed all accommodation and safeguarding for students is of the highest standard. UKG Language is accredited by The British Council and English UK ensuring all teaching, curriculum design, study materials are new, modern and innovative.

UK Guardians and UKG Language have worked with young leaners from all over the world designing student centred programmes that combine classroom and real-life learning outside the classroom. We consider ourselves as mini-stay and group specialist who focus maximising student’s experiences.

UKG Language will be opening a new purpose-built language learning centre in Ringwood in the heart of the New Forest in January 2025. The centre will initially be specialising in young leaner mini stays with programmes designed for specific age groups 10-13, 14-16 and 16 plus.

Students will have a unique and enlightening educational adventure in England where they can learn more about the English and their language and the English culture.

Ringwood, New Forest

Discover “The Real England” in a historic market town located on the edge of the New Forest. Ringwood traces its history back as far as 1226 with its first market charter, situated on the banks of the river Avon it is truly and beautiful location to learn and study. Ringwood is just 20 minutes for the historic woodlands of the New Forest National Park and the picturesque south coast beaches of Mudeford and Highcliffe.

Ringwood has a traditional English community village feel, it still has a weekly market and an annual timetable of community events and activities including an annual carnival and go-kart race, experience the “Real England”.
All students will benefit from a local store discount programme on production of their UKG Language identity card.

All students will stay in a local host family (link to accommodation page) that has been fully vetted by UK Guardians using AEGIS Gold Standard requirements. All host families will be on a local bus route allowing easy access to the school.

Ringwood is just 2 hours from London airports, with various transport options to get to the school. Our nearest airport is Bournemouth International just 20 minutes away. We can arrange private coach airport pick-ups or advise on using National Express Coaches that drops off a 2-minute walk from the UKG Language School. Whatever your choice we will help you choose the best option for your group.

The great British mini stay

The best way to learn the English Language, through an immersive, engaging language and cultural experience.

We invite groups of up to 45 girls and boys aged 10 to 17 years to escape for a week or two and come and stay in a historic, traditional market town in the picturesque south of England surrounded by the best of the British countryside only miles from beautiful beaches and only a couple of hours journey from London.

Enjoy a 7-day stay in a typical English home and as a guest interact with a local family affording students with both an insight into British family life and
immersive practice of the language that will be so useful in their future careers.

All mini stay programmes include one full and one-half day excursion. Classroom learning is linked to the excursions to allow a full immersion and learning experience.

Throughout their stay students will be directed in how they can make their own Instagram-able video Vlog as a unique personal record of their experience so they can relive their holiday time and time again with both families and friends.
